5 Stars Economically speaking, probably the BEST Sanus wall mount out there
You can’t beat this wall mount for the price. We loved the first one so much, we bought the same mount for our larger TV.

Mounting is a snap; I mounted first TV (32″ Westinghouse) using VESA pattern in about 30 minutes with my drill, rachet set, and level. I got the second TV (37″ VIZIO) up in the same time with the addition of a SANUS 400×200 mm adapter plate.

For a mount that mounts into a single wall stud, it can hold very heavy TVs. The design allows you to swivel it as needed; it stays in place once locked.

Overall, a great mount.

5 Stars Great Product!
Very easy to install, Holds my 26″ LCD in any position I put it. Looks very nice installed with TV in place.

5 Stars Great sturdy mount
This is a great, sturdy mount for my 32″ LCD. Installation was quite easy, taking less than an hour from opening the box to having it complete. I plan to purchase another one for my bedroom.

5 Stars Works beautifully, but a very small caveat for the obsessive
I have to admit I was worried about all that would be involved in mounting a 32″ LCD using this mount, but instead the entire process went amazingly quickly. In fact, the longest part of the install was marking the studs on the wall.

The mount is completely adjustable and I appreciate the small amount of tilt the mount allows in case in the process of attaching the lag bolts the mounting plate gets pulled slightly off-plumb. It’s incredibly sturdy and I have no concerns about it holding and lasting the life of multiple TVs.

Do be sure you know where on the mount you want the included cable clips, as they will snap off rather than come out of the holes – but nothing that can’t be worked around with regular cable ties.

The kit literally comes with everything you will likely need save for a stud finder. All lag bolts and all attachment bolts to the TV itself are included.

The one very small caveat is that the horizontal plumb of the attached TV will vary a little depending upon how far the arm is extended, so if you adjust the TV to be level with the arm fully extended it will be ever so slightly tilted when you push the arm back up against the wall. However you’ll only notice with the use of a level – it’s not an issue in real-world use.

Note also that there are TWO allen wrenches included with the mount, and the slightly larger silver one is the one you need to adjust the TV’s horizontal tilt once it’s attached. I was frustrated that Sanus included the “wrong size” allen wrench in the hardware kit until I found the second wrench – duh.

In short, I can’t recommend this mount highly enough.

5 Stars Awesome!
Mount is fantastic. Fits my 40 inch Samsung. The best thing is that the mount moves making it good for any type of viewing.

5 Stars Just Awesome
Once I found the studs in my wall installing this was a breeze.

It has punch-outs for wires and for the installation of an outlet, very cool.

(These punch-outs are at both the top and bottom of the unit.)

After the installation, you know there is no way your TV is going to fall.

The whole wall would have to fail.

A little pricey, but made in the USA and top quality, so I feel it is well worth it.

I paired this with the Sanus Systems LRF118-B1 and a Samsung LNT4671F 46″

Just beautiful.

4 Stars against the wall
We were having trouble because we wanted our new TV to be as close to the wall as possible so we could mount a two-way mirror over it and not have a gap between the wall and mirror frame.

This ‘in wall box’ with the companion Sanus swing arm mount made everything work out as hoped.

Contractor that hung it up said it was nice to work with as far as putting into the wall with the way it was constructed.

4 Stars Does The Job
Just mounted a 52″ Samsung LCD TV and am pleased with the mount. Like others, I feel comfortable about its strength. You hate to see a $2000+ TV crash to the floor and I believe if it happens now we have gone through a 8.0 earthquake.

Yes, directions could be a little clearer, a little more text would have helped but I have struggled with much worse. There are extra parts provided for different configurations but they are not clearly identified for that purpose so you tend to wonder where they are supposed to attach.

One problem I had was tightening the cap screw on one of the “vises” until the bar it grips will not move. I therefore tightened slowly, turning the bar to check for movement and found that turning the bar is not what they intended – the cap screw pulled through the plastic (Delrin?) vise. There isn’t much lip for the cap screw head to grip so can be stripped fairly easy. If they said tighten until the bar won’t slide I would have avoided trouble. Not a tragedy, I simply got a longer cap screw, added a washer and the problem was fixed. The hardware is only 15 minutes away and I always expect one trip on a project.

The 66 lb TV plus sturdy mount requires two people to hang it on the recessed support. A third person to guide the swivel onto the bracket makes the job fast and fairly easy.

The recess allows the set to fit closer to the wall but the bracket assembly still holds it out from the wall a few inches. One reason is that even though the Samsung has a flat back, I still needed to use provided standoffs. There were no bolts of appropriate length to avoid that. Yes, another trip to the hardware might have corrected that but I chose to accept the added 1/2 to 3/4″.

I recommend this wall mount.

3 Stars Good Quality, But Hard to Install…
PROS:

The mount is professional quality and extremely sturdy. It easily holds the weight of our 42″ LCD TV.

The mount allows the TV to extend over 12 inches from the wall and gives a large range of angles for rotating the TV. It was important to us to be able to angle the TV toward the kitchen, sofa, or dining table within our condo. So we needed a wide range of motion. This was one of the main reasons we chose this mount.

Although the mount seems expensive compared to some of the Asian imports, the price is excellent for the quality of the mount. The TV is easy to move around after installation.

CONS:

Installation is a bear, and I mean a grizzly. The entire mount (less the box purchased separately) is attached to the back of the television. It takes two people to lift the TV with the heavy mount attached plus a third person to guide it into place. Most other mounts only require a bracket to be placed on the back of the TV so it can be lifted into place by one person.

The box (purchased separately) is installed between the studs. There is very little room for adjustment to center the TV on the wall. A mount that installs on the surface of the wall is much more versatile.

The TV, when installed, is not centered on the box. If you are expecting the TV to be centered between the studs, it will actually be offset a little to the left. This is actually a plus for my installation, but it was not what I expected.

The box in the wall has a punch out for running cables in the wall and an electrical box. The hole for the low voltage cables does not allow a standard grommet to be put in place. The outlet must also be installed before mounting the TV or you will not be able to get the electrical box in place.

I purchased this unit in an attempt to get a more flush look with the wall. Because the mount is so big, it sticks out more than a flush mount.

I will probably not use this mount again. It is just too difficult for one person to install. We can get similar performance without needed to cut a big hole in the wall with a different style mount. Other mounts are also easier to install. We will probably go with a Premier Mount for our next flat screen.

5 Stars great mount
I needed a mount that had full articulation (sofa and chairs are to the right of the TV, so I need it to pull out ~30-40 degrees and also wanted to be able to tilt down ~5-10 degrees). I also wanted my TV to sit as flush to the wall as possible, which lead me to this Sanus.

I mounted my 52″ Sony XBR4 myself. The mount is listed as 30″ to 50″ displays, but as long as you are under the weight limit and within the mount width of the crossbars it’ll work. Install was easy, and it holds the weight with no problem. I needed to position the TV a little left of center to make up for where the box fit in between the studs to get the TV centered exactly between my fireplace and the side wall. This is great flexibility… just be aware that you cannot shift the TV more than a few inches or it will start to rotate slightly from the off-center weight.

Anyway, mount looks great, works great, and I’ve gotten many compliments. I highly recommend this mount!

4 Stars It’s a good mount, but…
This is a good TV mount, but:

1. The box for the wall does not come with it, you have to buy it seperately.

2. The TV still stands out from the wall about 1 1/2 inches.

3. It was really difficult to attach the TV and mount to the wall box. It took 3 people.

4. It’s pretty expensive, considering that you also have to buy the wall box to mount it.

5. The screws that mount the frame to the back of the TV were too short for our TV, necessitating a trip to the hardware store. It comes with several sizes of screws and washers to attach the frame to the TV, but none of them worked.

6. The frame on the back of the TV blocks access to some of the connections on the back of the TV.

The good points:

1. It is really sturdy. We don’t worry that the TV will fall.

2. The swivel arm makes it unneccessary to take the TV down to access the back connections and run the wires through the wall.

3. It hides most of the mount in the wall, when viewed from the side, if the TV is pushed back as far as it will go.

We’ve already got it up (which was a major project, let me tell you), but if I had it to do over again, I would get the mount from the manufacturer of the TV, even though it was a tad more expensive (but it was electriccally adjustable and controlled by the TV remote). I like it that the box in the wall hides a lot of the “works”, but the problem with accessing the connections is likely to be ongoing and irritating.

4 Stars Good quality, but you need to be aware of a few things
The product literature claims that it fits virtually all flat-panel TVs up to 50″. It doesn’t fit TVs with an 800mm wide bolt distance (which includes my 47″ LG LCD). The horizontal rods that you see in the picture are just a couple of inches too short. It can be made to fit by getting longer 1″ diameter steel tubing, if you have to.

Also, the in-wall box that is recommended (and shown in the picture but sold seperately) is actually required, unless you are willing to fabricate your own alternative.

The quality is great. The instructions are adequate, but could be better.

User Ratings and Reviews

4 Stars Tilting Wall Mount, 40″ Sony LCD
The wall mount works well and is easy to install. It supports my 40″ TV easily with the mount fastened to two wood wall studs. It was less expensive than similar alternatives, which is good, but all of the available mounts seem to be overpriced so I didn’t quite “love” this product.

5 Stars Skeptic
I had been considering mounting a flat panel above my fireplace and was skeptical about doing so because of heat. I only had thirty five inches of available height above the fireplace mantle to work with, width not an issue. I thought a 42″ flat panel was my only option, therefore I purchased this mount. After receiving the mount, I was pleasantly surprised that the width of the mount would go to 400mm or 15.75″. The mount has a wieght rating of 100lbs, therefore I could mount a 47″ flat panel well under 100lbs. I purchased the mount before aquiring a flat panel. It came with all the hardware and in a timely fashion. The price was considerably less than other sites and stores. Very pleased with purchase.

4 Stars Quality and easy to install, but not perfect
The Sanus MT25-B1 is a tilting wall mount for smaller-size flat panel televisions. It mounts to a single stud, so there is a weight limit. You mount a bracket to the wall and 2 brackets to the back of the TV. It comes with excellent instructions and goes up very easily. The one difficult thing was leveling the TV. This is done by making small adjustments to the brackets on the back of the TV. You have to hang the TV, take it off and loosen the 2 screws on one bracket, move the bracket slightly up or down, tighten the screws, hang it again and re-check the level. I had to go through this cycle at least 6-8 times until I got it level. Unlike their mounts for large-size displays which have small screws you can adjust while the TV is already hung, this is a pain to adjust. Once done, it stays level and works just great.

5 Stars Sanus MT-25-B1 Tilting Flat Panel Mount…..Great
Bought the Sanus Tilting Flat Panel mount for my Sony 26″ LCD Tv…..worked great….easy to install….found one stud in wall and used

lags that were supplied to that stud, and used toggle bolts in other side of the bracket. Needed to drill two holes in bracket for lags; so I could extend bracket over farther. Easy modification, worked great. Fishing the coxial cable thru wall was a harder job than the bracket. All said n done, I,m quite well pleased; and TV works great too.

5 Stars sanus wall mount is perfect
It is easy to install and very capable of holding any medium size TV.The mounting plate allows you to span two wall studs.

User Ratings and Reviews

5 Stars tv wallmount
nice simple and sturdy what more can i say. Oh yeah , Way cheaper than what you would find in the box stores for the same set up. directions were fairly easy to understand , once you found the english version. Plenty of screws and for what ever system you are using it on.

5 Stars Great Easy to Install and level Wall mount End of Story.
If you have a hard time with this wall mount you should not be mounting tvs. This is an easy to install wall mount that provides the ability to tilt, angle and level. Additionally it looks great. I mounted an Audiovox 17″ tv in my kitchen using this wallmount without any problems. Just follow the directions and there should be no problems. The mount is adjustable so that even if you did not mount it level, you can rotate the tv until it is level. The mount comes with tons of screws to account for any installation requirement.

5 Stars That was easy enough
I used this mount in my kitchen, under my cabnit and above my counter. I have a 19″ TV mounted. It’s length doesn’t extend past my cabnit. I can swing the TV so I can view it from just about anywhere in the kitchen.

Mounting was easy. Where I wanted mine mounted, I did not have studs located in that position to screw into. You can find the studs using a Stud Finder found at your local hardware store. I used 2 wall mounting brackets that tighten using a screw from the outside of the drywall to the bracket on the back side of the drywall.
