5 Stars It’s Great
I’ve had this set for about three weeks and I can’t say a single bad thing about it. It has an excellent picture, even when you watch standard definition programming. I can’t imagine a better TV.
5 Stars Samsung PN63590 Plasma
This TV has a beautiful picture, the colors and black levels are excellent. I have it hooked up to a surround sound system but the built in speakers sound fine for everyday use. I’ve seen a 65 inch Sharp LCD which doesn’t compare picture wise and cost a lot more money. It also comes with a nice lighted remote easy to use in the dark. Can’t go wrong with this TV.
5 Stars Amazing picture – good menus – very, very pleased
Here is the short-n’-sweet:
Getting a screen size of this, a plasma was the only way to go…forget Mitusbishi and those DLPs or Lasers screens. LCD still cannot produce an image like a plasma nor keep up with motion fields. I like watch the football fly through the air and still have it look like a football. This thing fields at 600Hz. Sorry 240+Hz LCD still not good enough for me for clean motion.
Screen-burn has not been in issue. Samsung pixel-shift and scroll-mode repair takes care of it. I even left a tivo menu on while I dosed off and thought I messed-up it good. Nope, nothing, nada. Left it on the screen for 30+ minutes too…
The bottom-line: Awesome. Very, very pleased…am I am one picky fella.
5 Stars Great Plasma
I’ve had this TV for two days. I absolutely love it. The picture is crystal clear. I watched a DVD video with black bars at the top and bottom, no IR at all. I originally was looking at the Samsung 58″ PN58B650. I found this set at the local hhGregg. They had the PN58B550 and the PN63B590 both on diplay. The 63″ blew the 58″ away. I can’t think of anything negative to say about this set as far as quality of picture. I use a Kenwood surround sound system, so I can’t really comment on the speakers. It is great for HD programming and Blu Ray viewing. It does not have Internet@TV or some of the other extras that other sets have. It has USB capability instead of an SD card reader. If you are looking for a giant screen TV for HD sports or movies. This is it!

5 Stars Solid, easy to install, locking a plus
No need to send an installer. This is a solidly built, easy to install, HDTV mount. Hung a 46″ in a half hour. Comes with a variety of bolt sizes to fit different models. Has locking/safety bar.
5 Stars Great Mount!
Easy to install and very easy to hang and if necessary, remove TV. Only glitch: Had to buy shorter, but wider Lag bolts as I was mounting on an exterior wall with concrete block behind it. Kit is set up to mount to studs or pure masonry only. Another set of bolts for exterior drywall/block would be recommended. TV looks great on wall!!! I have a Sony Bravia XBR4 (46″), there is enough space for connections behind the set, albeit a little snug. Make sure you make those connections first and then hang the set. However, it’s pretty easy to have someone grab the bottom of the set and tilt the bottom up while another person reaches behind.
5 Stars Best Wall Mount To Purchase!
This wall mount took time to hang on the wall, but once it was finished it looked awesome. We couldn’t have chose a better tv mount.
Everyone that comes in the room makes a compliment ![]()
Shipping was extremely fast and seller was friendly. Would purchase from them again.
4 Stars Sanus VMPL250B Very Straightforward
I found this product to be everything that it says. Once we found the studs mounting it was a matter of minutes. The caveat that I was made aware of was to plug in all of your cords before mounting as the television mounts very close to the wall. Any future cords will require you to dismount the television, add the plug-in, and remount. I am very happy with this product and highly recommend it.
5 Stars Great Product Great Price
I don’t have much to add over the reviews that I read. I mounted a 52″ samsung on this mount and am very happy with it, I wanted the TV to be as close to the wall as possible, and I don’t think you could get any closer. I had to actually hang the TV, mark the location I wanted it, take it off, measeure where the cable, HDMI and power come in and redrill holes, right behind these jacks. I had a big HDMI monstser cable and it would have been holding the bottom of the TV out without doing this, I’m sure you could buy cables that are 90 degrees, but since I had all of these cables in the wall and you won’t see the holes anyway, I just drilled some new ones. I was very happy with this product and it was less then half of what I would have paid in a store.
Mounting is a snap and construction is SOLID!

5 Stars Perfection
I purchased this TV after reading all of the reviews on this site along with all on the BB web site. I was very impressed with the number of people raving about this TV. So I ordered it without even a trip to see one. No one lied, as this TV, for being a 720 versus a 1080, is outstanding in every way. I purchased it for a second TV to free up our 65 inch from the kids during football season. I have had this TV for a month now and I love it in every way. The clarity of the tuner (no cable box) and the PS3 games is phenominal. The plasma vesus my DLP is like watching an ultra clear tube TV. People say about the sound but for normal use, I have no complaints. The boys use the PS3 with the sound about 13-15. Plenty loud enough to warrant me not hooking up my old sound system. I ordered this on a Tuesday and it was in my house working by Friday lunch time. Now that may not be the rule, but I was certainly impressed. If you are looking for a nice sized TV for a living room, look no further, order it. You will be glad you did! For $800, you simply can not find a better TV out there. I assure you, this is a great deal. Samsung rules the TV market IMHO!
5 Stars Great Value for a Very Good TV
Bought this on-line after seeing it in couple of big box retail stores. You can’t set the picture of this TV apart from many others you’d see on the wall and that is the real point of buying it. This is a great choice for anyone looking at using this as a bedroom/living room TV (for HD cable/regular movies). I have dish network TurboHD package (HD content only) and it performs admirably. Great value over LCDs of similar size. The colors and contrast is fantastic (better than LCDs) and unlike Panasonic plasmas, the picture is a whole lot brighter(main concern for folks considering Plasmas vs LCDs). LCDs still are a lot brighter but it won’t make a material difference to your TV viewing. For less than $800, it is really a steal. Outside of Blue Ray and old HDDVD movies, next to no HD content is available in 1080P. In case that changes in the next couple of years, your unused 1080P capability that you pay for today would have depreciated more than the price of this TV. You’d probably be able to buy a more recent 1080P TV then for a fraction of what you’d pay today.
In short, this TV makes all the sense for today and for the foreseeable future. The sound is prabably average for a TV but if you care for good audio, you should hook it up to a receiver and decent set of speakers.
1 Star NEVER order a TV from Amazon
I’ve ordered tons of stuff from Amazon and to this point have had a good experience on orders, the only exception being a book that arrived smelling like smoke. However, that was an independent seller, so everything with Amazon as the seller had been fine.
Until now.
This was the worst experience I have EVER had with ANY retailer. Not only did the TV arrive with a completely shattered screen, but I was NOT contacted at all by Amazon in regards to a replacement. When I called and was finally able to get through being on hold they weren’t even aware I had refused delivery. I was then informed that they would not replace my order-the order THEY had damaged. Instead I would be refunded so I could then purchase again. The reason for this? First I was told they didn’t have a comparable product. That seemed bogus because it was still listed online and there were more available. When I questioned how that was possible I was subsequently told that it was because the TV wasn’t sold through Amazon. When I asked how that could be since it stated it was sold and shipped by Amazon I was told “Well yeah but we don’t consider it as part of Amazon.” Gotta love that sort of logic. Ridiculous.
SURE I am going to just wait for my refund so I can then reorder another broken TV, I can hardly wait. I just wish I could rate this 0 stars.
5 Stars Great deal to get 720 rather than 1080
I liked the first one I got so much I decided to get another one. Picture quality is much better than LCD even compared to 1080 but I don’t think I would gone much bigger than 50″ with a 720. I strongly believe that, in general, you get what you pay for but this is an exception. My situation is not the same as everyone but if you don’t watch much TV, play video games, or have a brightly lit room for a TV, this is a no-brainer to save the money and get this 720 plasma rather than 1080 LCD. The money you save will help buy you the next technology.
The first delivery of this TV was damaged – the screen was cracked so I would advise others to open the box before signing the reciept that you “received the item in good condition”. I didn’t have any problems returning it but I was initially concerned when looking at the delivery receipt.
1 Star Beware!
I have owned it two months. Great picture. However after a few weeks I noticed a bright green dot that would appear. Not large but very bright and it flickers, sort of like saying, look at me, look at me! Extremely distracting because the rest of the picture is perfect. I thought, no problem, I have a one year warranty so maybe I should wait to see if it goes away. It did not, just got worse. So I called Samsung and worked my way through the menu system. After I explained the problem, the sympathetic person assured me that this would be repaired, but then transferred me to another person to whom I had to explain everything again. So these people told me that they would contact my local Samsung repair center and that I would get a call from the service center to set up a time for the repair. But the next day I received two calls, one from Samsung technical service, and one for AT&T technical services or something like that. After being on the phone with AT&T for 40 minutes they explained that a few bad pixels are considered normal and Samsung would not repair the TV. But they are VERY sorry. I waited a few weeks while the dot got brighter and then called Samsung again. Oh, they just didn’t understand why this was not repaired and I made them repeat to me that I would NOT get a call from AT&T or some other third party. Oh no, they were going to contact the my local repair facility personally and get the TV fixed immediately. I could expect a call the next day. Well, do I need to tell you who really called? Yes AT&T and Samsung technical department. AT&T asked me to tell them what the problem was, and I told him he was looking at my information on his computer screen and I didn’t feel like taking another 40 minutes to explain it again. So after a few minutes he transferred me to the ECR department. (EXECUTIVE Customer bla, bla, bla Dept.)The Executive part is suppose to be impressing you. Now he is sympathetic and assures me that it will be repaired, yes it will, absolutely! I made him say it ten different ways, yes it will be fixed, BUT then he said, Samsung does have a pixel policy. Really! I never agreed to any special policy regarding bad pixels. I only know that I have a defective TV and a one year warranty. Well for now that is where it stands. All I am saying is be very cautious when buying a flat screen and look for a zero defect warranty and a long return policy so you can do an exchange or refund. Good Luck
