We got this mount for our Panasonic PT-AX200U Home Theatre projector. My husband had it installed in no time and it is very sturdy. We especially liked that it came in white which matched both our projector and our ceiling, making it much less visually obtrusive.

I bought the peerless prg-unv-w not really knowing if it would fit my epson 6500 projector. Not only did it fit, but it was also a breeze to install. But what really made my day was the great price and the shopping experience i got by shopping with amazon.com. I never shopped online before, but look forward to the next time.

5 Stars Fantastic Projector Mount
I recently purchased an Epson 6500UB projector and its size and weight were far too formidable for my Mustang universal projector mount. I did some research, and with some trepidation I purchased this Peerless mount. I could not be happier! All metal construction, beautifully tooled, easy to balance and install, precise to adjust (and holds its adjustments,) and VERY easy to pop the projector of and off the mount. It even looks good. It is worth every penny.

5 Stars Works well with Epson 6100 projector
I’m using this mount for a home theater setup in a multi-purpose room in the basement. I like the low profile of this mount because I didn’t want the projector to hang too low from the 9 foot ceiling to where it would be an eye sore. Since it is white, it blends well against the white ceiling and with my mostly white Epson 6100UB projector. I was able to easily install the mount on the ceiling using the 2 supplied screws. Attaching the projector to the mount was also easy. It can tilt and roll vertically, but I was able to make some adjustments to the way the projector attaches on to the mount’s spider legs to get a little horizontal shift. This combined with the projector’s lens shift allowed me to place the mount off center on the available ceiling I-beam. The mount can also rotate and removing the projector from the mount for maintenance is easy.

5 Stars Outstanding mount
I had to replace my JVC SX21 for a new JVC DLA-RS10 and my old custom mount would not fit my new projector. When I had installed the original projector I had planed it to the max. Had out the trig formulas and it was a perfect set up.

Problem was that the mount that I had – although expensive and infinitely adjustable would never hold the projector tight. Believe me I tried. There was always a bit of creep every month or two.

Installed this mount in a few minutes, adjusted the knobs and tightened the mount in place. Perfection! No movement, people can jump on the floor above and this thing is rock solid. Set it and forget it. My only complaint is that it took this long for someone to think of this.

If you have done your research and plan on installing your projector yourself as I did know that it uses industry standard 2 1/2″ pipe to drop down from the ceiling. it could not be easier. Screw in the top part. install the base to the projector and it slides into place. Lock it and adjust. Just brilliant!

As an A/V installer I’ve used several different makes and models of projector mounts; but none has the flexibility of this precision geared mount.

I like the product but the initial information did not give enough detail concerning installation.

If I had not mounted projectors before, I could have been easily frustrated because

it did not detail initially that an additional base would be needed to install.

If you have a large projector like the Panasonic PT-AE3000U, this is the ceiling mount for you. I had my projector mounted in less than an hour. Instructions are straight-forward and easy to follow. If you are investing 2500.00 in a projector as I did, don’t skimp on the mount.

Great product. Unlike the disastrous PRS-UNV, whose adjustment screws never got tight enough to hold the PJ in one place, this mount is bomb-proof. The geared mechanisms that control pitch and roll are high-quality and stay put.
