Super heavy and sturdy. Have had it outside for four months now and no complaints. For $105 delivered a great deal. Not a five star due to slight lean to the right, but not really noticeable. Probably a common problem with a lot of mounts. Great deal.

5 Stars easy to install!
This was much easier to install than I had feared, having read lots of reviews of wall mount products being difficult to install. Two of us installed in less than 1/2 hour. It even has a level built into the product so you can see immediately if the mount is level or not as you screw it into the wall.

It holds my TV perfectly level and is easy to move about.

I originally bought this mount and had to return it due to issues with my wall studs… I contacted them via their cusomter service line and was helped immediately by someone who gave me clear instructions for returning the unit and choosing the correct one. They even shipped out the new unit early (when I sent them the tracking number) and refunded the difference in orders promptly. I wouldn’t hesitate to order from them again.

5 Stars Good quality mount
With the exception of the fact that you need to purchase 20′ cables vs. 10′ cables so that it can actually extend, its great. The extra cost of the cables is not a big deal if you get online. The complaint I heard was that it stuck off the wall more than the flush mount one. But to me it was worth being able to move the TV around the room. Have plenty of zip ties to make the cable snake along the arm. Install tip, choose how you will view tv, on the wall flush or extended. It is not possible to have both positions 100% level (if you even care, it is still between the lines on the bubble level)

Would purchase again.

Very good quality mount(especially for the price) Have not experienced any “sag” and have a 46″ LCD setting on it. Only problem was one mounting screw was the wrong size.

5 Stars Awesome mount for the money!! You can’t go wrong!!
Fantastic wall mount. Easy to set up and super strong. Holds my 46″ LCD with ease. Read a few reviews of people complaining about the poor instructions and the mount being unlevel. (use a level folks!!) Well, if you have even the slightest mechanical ability, you can hang this thing blindfolded. Also, it’s infinitely adjustable, so if the main wall plate is not perfectly level, you can compensate with the adjustable plate that mounts to the TV. (There are 5 allen head screws that allow the TV to rotate. So, if the wall mount is down on the left side, you can rotate the TV plate to the right to compensate. Why are people freaking out??) Just get this mount already!!It’s the cat’s ass!! If you have a problem with it, contact me directly and I’ll help you out. Also, this new girl I’m dating is coming over tonight and when she sees my new wall mounted TV, her clothes are going to literally fall off her body!! Yes, there will be more than one thing being mounted tonight!!!

4 Stars PLEASE READ, BUT BE CAREFUL WITH PURCHASE!!!!!!! IMPORTANT!!!!!!
OK.. I recruited a friend to help with the lifting of the tv and mount for mounting to the wall.

Neither my friend nor myself are a novice when it comes to mounting tvs/working with mounting things to walls.

With THAT said.. I will review.

Instructions: pure and utter garbage. I have no idea how a company could put out such a horrible set of instructions. No pictures, it even skips steps that a novice would not know about, and it doesn’t explain things correctly.

Hardware: GARBAGE. DO NOT USE. I was a a little confused at first by why they would include what they did (a few anchors and some cheap zinc screws..) I decided to play devils advocate and mounted it anyways. Downstairs on the Sanus mount i have, i literally had a friend do a pull-up on it. Why would i want to take a chance with a $1000+ tv. if it ll hold 200 lbs, it ll hold my tv and some adjustments. I had my friend do a “pull up” on this cheetah mount with the hardware that came with it and it RIPPED RIGHT OUTTA THE WALL!! NO WAY would i mount my nice plasma on that.i went out to Lowes and got my own deep screws. used them and its great.

Mount: only complaints are the sag and twise.. that is caused by uneven mounting and by structual un-eveness in the manufacturing of the mount. all i have to do is add a little wash on the one side and its gonna be perfect

Ability to move/manuever: not as easy as the Sanus i have, but still – for the price its MORE than worth it. you get what you pay for.

Is it worth it??: YES. of course yes. just get new hard ware.

5 Stars Best mount ever–with a little dumb luck
I could not be happier with this stand. The overall appearance is clean and strong. Once installed the mount could easily support my 40 inch LCD and more–I was pulling on the arms to test its strength after my TV was mounted. An included safety bar keeps the TV in place and secure. The duel actuating arms give you the freedom to easily point your display in a wide degree of viewing angles. Being able to pull it away form the wall made it great for accessing the cable in back. Very simple install, came with all the neccissary hardware and additional pieces.

Where the dumb luck comes into play:

With the help of a friend I was able to measure, drill, and mount in about 40 minutes. But as hard as we tried to get the drilled holes and base of the mount level, our work was slightly off. Even though the base would be on an angle, we continued to attach the mount and later the LCD. Sure enough the display was PERFECTLY level. It was dumb luck that the stand was not manufactured perfectly level and the hardware made up for our drilling error. Had the two of us successfully installed the base of the mount level, the display would have been tilted.

Overall the stand looks great, is very strong, secure, and allows for easy adjustment of the direction and angle. The only thing you have to look our for is making sure everything is level, not just your drilling, but the mount itself. A+, but I did get lucky.

WOW. I bought a cheetah mount that only tilts for my 52″ SAMSUNG LCD TV. But the configuration of my living room/kitchen area had me thinking I’d rather go with an articulating wall mount, so I can turn it if I’m cooking or if I have people over on the sectional sofa I can turn it that (the opposite) way. So I bought this puppy (I kept the other tilting-only mount for my bedroom LCD TV which I haven’t purchased yet). After taxes and S&H, it came out to $106. A similar product at BestBuy and hhgregg costs well over $300 (bestbuy has some that articulate and tilt that are up to $750!!!)

I’m a civil engineer, I work on designing things as a career. When I opened the box and saw the structural bulk of this thing, I was very impressed. I knew my brand new TV would be secure hanging from this thing. It came with a BUNCH of extra hardware in case you needed to use it (I ended up using the screws they supplied for the connection to the TV, since mine were too short). I also used their spacers to help ensure full thread engagement.

I wanted to install the TV on the wall and run the cables through the wall, so I had a lot of work cut out for me. Also, I live on a first floor condo unit, so my studs were in groups of 3 and only 12″ apart. So I had to cut a whole in the drywall and add another adjacent stud to it. The lag screws they supplied are more than efficient. Just be sure to have the right sized screwdriver head to avoid stripping the heads.

Once I got the TV up I load tested it. I brought it out about 3/4 the total extension distance and first pulled down on it a bit. Then I slowly transferred all my weight to the mount. I heard a little bit of stress in the wood, but after all 215lbs of me was hanging from it, I knew that my 66 lb tv would be just fine. It’s only upon writing this review that I see it’s rated for 180 lbs. so it’s a good thing that I didn’t see that before load-testing it. (even though, being an engineer and all) I know things are derated all the time. The instructions were a little fuzzy, but it’s still pretty easy to not screw up.

5 Stars Great product at an even better price!
To begin with, I am not a handyman by any stretch of the imagination, but I figured I would give mounting this a try. With a decent stud finder, level, and ratchet I had all the tools I needed. It went up on the wall very easily, and the TV attached nearly as easily. I was very impressed with the sturdiness and the ability to adjust the angles. I attached a 46 inch Sony Bravia TV and have no concerns with it coming down. As with many of the other comments, I could not believe the price in comparison with other brands (many more than $300)! I would certainly recommend this product to anybody who might be interested. The item is not perfect. The instructions are not clear, and it would be nice if some of the hardware was covered better behind the TV, but for the price, and functionality of the object, this is possibly the best deal I have ever found on Amazon!

I can’t believe this mount.. SO inexpensive you think something has to be off! We bought this for a 32″ RCA LCD. We got that TV when LCD’s first hit the market. It’s old and heavy! We put it in our grand kids play room and it’s wonderful! Couldn’t be easier to install and it’s very secure! Really, it’s unbelievable! Really, if you’re in the market, you can’t go wrong.. Oh, and the level on the item and the one in the box were spot on!

5 Stars No reason to spend more for a mount.
I used this to mount my 32 inch LCD TV in the basement. It was the perfect size and works very well. I see absolutely no reason to spend $80 on a mount when this one does the exact same thing for much less.

4 Stars Good for the money, but be careful.
I read the reviews and was happy to find a decent tilt mount for a television smaller than thirty inches. However, after I bought the product i realized something pretty drastic: The plates used to mount the television to the actual wall mount were FAR to big for the back of my 26 inch Samsung LCD tv. The mount on the left side worked perfectly, but on the right side, the mounting plate actually hung down so far it blocked a lot of my input jacks.

As well as blocking my input jacks (as some televisions have them in the middle instead of on the side) the same brackets actually stuck out a good seven inches ABOVE my television. As aesthetically displeasing as this is, I don’t think I will send the mount back, but I really wish there was a picture added to show users how the mount affixes to the back of the television. Also, the mount comes with several different size mounting bolts, which I was happy to see, BUT there were none small enough to fit my television. If you run into this problem, simply go to your nearest BestBuy and ask for the proper size mounting bolts (your television’s manual should have the size listed)

It is a very sturdy product, looks great, is textured so the mount will not screech and slide, and is well worth the money. But be prepared to have some trouble if you have a smaller than 30″ television.

5 Stars Sturdy Mount
We have installed several of these mounts in motel rooms and they are as well built as any that we have used. They are very easy to install once the wall studs are located, they are very sturdy & hold the TV securly. Over all for the price available through Amazon, the quality of the product and shipping from Cheetah Mounts, these are the best we have used (also have used – CHEETAH MOUNTS LCD TV ARTICULATING ARM WALL MOUNT FOR 23-37″ DISPLAYS BLACK- which are also a good mount but not as stable/secure).

4 Stars Works with our 32″ Samsung
This mount works well with our 32″ Samsung and mounts very securely to the wall. I was a little surprised at the size of the bolts that are used to drive the mount into the wall. Let’s just say that it shouldn’t have ANY trouble with your 32″ TV no matter the weight.

So, the pros are that it was easy to set up, installed quickly, and is secure and small. Also, the TV can slide left and right, which is nice.

The cons are that the built in level is completely useless. I wish it wasn’t there because everyone who’s seen it comments about the mount no being level, but my expensive level (and my eyes) say it is. Another con is that the tilt angle is difficult to adjust.

Overall, I’m pretty happy with the mount and would purchase again.
