5 Stars Great Product
This product was easy to install and holds my 42″ LCD quite well. Easy to move and change positions.
5 Stars Awesome mount
I would recommend this mount to anyone buying a larger LCD. It tilts up/down, swivels left/right, and can pull away from the way effortlessly! I have mine set-up in my great room and this unit works great as when you are watching from the couch, you can tilt it down and when you are across the room in the kitchen or bar area, you can pull it out, swivel it to the left, and tilt it back… so you can see it from anywhere you might be in the room!
It does stick out from the wall about 4-5 inches when fully pushed in, but that can be expected if you want the swivel and extension features. I was leary of the included mounting bolts so I invest in some harden ones from the local hardware store. It pays to shop around as this unit was almost $200 cheaper at Amazon (plus shipped for free!!)as compared to BB and CC.
4 Stars Good product, installation a bit of a pain
The product itself is very good and I am VERY happy with the flexibility it offers to move/pivot the TV around. The two issues I had regard installation.
I mounted mine into a brick wall fireplace and bought mason anchor bolts with sleeves from Lowe’s, only lag bolts for stud mounting come with the kit. However once I got the TV on the mounting plate, the anchor sleeves started slipping out. To solve this I bought a tube of Loc-tite industrial adhesive, the kind you need a caulk gun for (about $7). Filled the anchor holes with it, put the sleeves/bolts/plate back on and let it set for 24hrs – no issues with slippage after that.
The other issue is getting the tv bracket on the mounting plate. I have a 46″ lcd tv and it was definitely a three man job. Part of this may have been due to moutning it in a corner, so the arm had to be bent 90 degrees. It looks easy to get the arm on the plate, but once the TV is attached its pretty difficult. Again maybe this is easier if the arm is straight.
All in all though it is a great mount. Great flexibility for viewing options.
4 Stars Great mount….except….
The mount itself is great, but do yourself a favor and don’t use the lag screws that came with the unit. I put two of them into my wall and both snapped in half during the install. I had to pay HD a visit and purchase 4 new lag screws as I didn’t trust the remaining hardware. The new screws worked fine. I don’t think it was my install that snapped the screws as the new ones went in without a hitch.
4 Stars Mr.
I had to cut the support bars, being a universal mount in all, there were no directions about how to accomplish this feat. One bar made two with much room to spare. The holes for the security screws on the bottom of the mount were not tapped, and the screws for the swing limiter were not included in the kit. What should have been a straight forward install turned into a three hour ordeal including trips to the hardware store.
Once together the mount is a thing of beauty, it works perfectly!!!! I would recommend this mount to anyone and everyone.
As a side note; I built a special wall for this mount and TV to hang on so I solid blocked the wall and added extra mounting bolts to the mount, probably not needed but the blocking was there so why not.

5 Stars OUTSTANDING PICTURE QUALITY!
The Samsung PN58B650 58-inch Plasma HDTV is such an improvement over my conventional CRT-TV I can’t even begin to tell you!
The picture quality is just outstanding for a screen this large (with connection to my new DISH TV VIP satellite TV DVR, which stores 350 hours of Standard Definition TV and 55 hours of HDTV recordings). The sound is OK, but this becomes irrelevant when connected to a home theater receiver and with quality speakers.
With 4 HDMI inputs, there is sufficient connection to auxilliary components including Blue Ray players which contain HDMI outputs if you wish to make direct connections to your TV. A better method is to connect all components to your upscaling home theater receiver with ONE HDMI output to your HDTV panel.
There are also many standard input/output connection solutions on this TV, and there is optical digital sound output which can be fed back into your home theater receiver or other devices.
I’m impressed with the ability to connect this TV to the internet for connection to widgets (weather, stocks, news, etc), but you have to be patient for things to happen since it’s not so INSTANT as PC response would be.
You can connect a flash drive to view your pictures and movies stored on them.
You can also connect this TV through USB connection to your own desktop computer or laptop computer to navigate to your picture and movie files there.
I’m very pleased with this TV overall and got a terrific deal from Amazon.com with a $300 discount. The TV was delivered by 2 guys in a van who brought the TV into my home, unboxed it and tested it for picture and sound with my cable connection. I found a beautiful 3-shelf black glass stand at Best Buy to place my new Samsung HDTV upon with all components on shelves below and it’s stunningly beautiful.
Thank you Amazon for the great deal and this beautiful TV!
4 Stars Samsung HD Plasma TV
Very happy with this HD Plasma TV. The picture quality and overall performance of this TV is excellent.
Initially had a problem applying an Amazon.com promotional discount of $325 on this item. After exchanging numerous emails with Amazon.com over several weeks, Amazon.com resolved my problem to my satisfation.
5 Stars Downgrade in size, upgrade in quality
I purchased this model Samsung plasma back in late June and have not regretted a single moment of it’s use since. I previously had a Mitsubishi 65″ wide screen rear projection and it was capable of 1080i. It was paired with a now 4yr old Onkyo 7.1 home theater in a box setup and my Sony Playstation 3. While 1080i looked really nice, I couldn’t take advantage of the PS3’s full 1080p/Blu-ray capability. So, after years of pining for 1080p, I finally laid out the cash for the Samsung PN58B650 and because it uses HDMI vs. the DVI connections my Onkyo receiver had, I paired the Samsung up with the Denon AVR790. O-M-G!! Blu-ray from my PS3 looks utterly amazing. The HD picture quality is absolutely crisp and clear. It literally looks like I could just reach in and grab the objects I see in HD. The Dolby HD and DTS HD-MA support from the Denon receiver just puts it over the top! Everything sounds awesome, especially the THX adverts on the DVD’s that support it. I reused the 7.1 surround speakers that came with the older Onkyo and the Denon simply breathed new life into them as they sound much better than before. I have the Samsung mounted on the wall and when I fire it up with either a 1080p supported PS3 game or a Blu-ray movie, I just begin to gush.
As for burn-in, every few weeks I run the built-in screen clean utility and I’m good to go. I have yet to hear any buzzing noise from any angle and dead center so I guess I lucked out.

5 Stars WOW Don’t walk, Run to buy this Plasma
I was a little worried ordering a TV of this size / cost online. Amazon came thru. Best price I found on line. $2175.00 deliverd. While I waited for the TV to arrive. I recived the latest consumer report. Read where this B650 was rated #1. My review is as follow’s. First I own at present time 7 LCD TV’s thru out my home. This was my first Plasma. When the TV arrived. I used a Break-in DVD for the first 250+ hours. Just placed the TV near a wall and left the break-in DVD run. When my new 65″ oak TV stand arrived I was ready. After my system was set up. I used a calibration DVD to set the colors etc. All I can say is, WoW. I am in HD heaven now. The black’s are the deapest I have ever seen on any TV period. The whites are pure white. This TV’s picture will take your breath away. The sound is not that bad using stand along. There is no sound from the power supply. What a well built, beautifull TV.
5 Stars Samsung B650 PLASMA TV
Delivered quicker than first stated through a specialized delivery company. Plugged in the TV to make sure everything was fine. The Samsung B650 Plasma is beautifully designed and the picture quality is outstanding. Has the Energy Star so saves on the juice.

5 Stars Super Sanus Systems VMDD26B
Wow, im impressed. This super sanus system TV wall mount is amazing. The motion of these arms are fluid. In, out, tilt, twist. It moves with ease. It looks sharp, its easy to install. Its incredibly strong. I would definately recommend this product to anyone who wants a great looking wall mount…
5 Stars works greqt
super sturdy, very high quality. there was one wierd insert page of the instructions that i believe were for a different model by Sanus, because in the box i got, that step appeared to have already been done. Holds our 52″ samsung perfectly, with enough range of motion to swivel it so we can watch it from the kitchen, which was exactly what we were looking for.
5 Stars Perfect for what I needed
I wanted to use this in conjunction with an enclosing tv cabinet so needed a mount for my 50″ plasma tv that was sturdy and would colapse close to the wall. As it was going onto a wall near a corner it needed to also have a lot of flexibility with angling. This mount works perfectly. It is only about four inches from the wall to the back of the tv and allows the mount and tv to colapse iside the 9 inch depth cabinet. It has great flexibility with angling and comes out of the cabinet far enough that the cabinet does not restrict the angling of the tv. It is very steady with no sag even fully extended. There have been a few that complained about the lag bolts and instructions but I thought instalation was simple and straight forward. I put a little soap on the lag bolts to reduce friction and they went in easily with no problems. I did a lot of online research before I bought this mount and I have no regrets and would definitely choose this one again in a heart beat. If there is a better mount out there for what I wanted, I could not find it.
5 Stars Fantastic mount
I bought this mount after a couple of hours of Internet research. It came down to a choice between this one (Sanus VMDD26) and one from monoprice.com, which costs significantly less. I just wasn’t convinced that that the monoprice mount would have the same quality and ease of movement as the Sanus, so I went with the Sanus mount. And wow! I’m blown away by its quality and durability. It’s heavy, well-built and has a great shiny black finish.
I hung a Panasonic 50PZ85U (50″ plasma) which weighs just over 100 lbs. Repositioning it is so easy because each of the joints on the mount allow the TV to smoothly glide as you push/pull it. I don’t see any sag in the unit at all and all the joints are tight (there isn’t any “play”).
The installation was simple (took less than 90 minutes), although you’ll probably need at least two people to finally hang the TV on the wall. The mount that is attached to the TV is probably 40-50 lbs and when you add in the weight of the TV, it’s too much/dangerous for just one person to deal with.
I wasn’t sure how it would look wall mounted, but I absolutely love the look now. Having the TV “floating” in the corner is such a cool and clean look, and it frees up the top of the stand for more components.
I don’t know how the monoprice.com mount performs, but I know I got a great mount from Sanus. I highly recommend it.
4 Stars Solid Performance
Very solid product. Instruction for self installation were a bit confusing so take your time. It is hold a 52 inch sony TV. The Articulating features are great.

With this versatile wall mount, there isn’t a bad seat in the house. The articulating arm, which attaches to any wall, creates the perfect viewing angle for your TV with 180 degree lateral rotation, tilt and swivel. The Articulating LCD Wall Dual Arm supports most 32″ up to 60″ plasma TV’s and holds up to 175 lbs. Bonus 6′ HDMI cable and LCD/Plasma Screen Cleaning Kit Included with this TV mount.

5 Stars Great wall mount
I bought this wall mount because it was the cheapest and most solid looking mount I could find. I used it to mount my 42inch Samsung Plasma. It takes two people and some tools to get this thing setup but once the work is done you will be satisfied. It looks great, feels solid, and it allows you to move your tv up, down, left, right, forwards, and backwards. I wish it could tilt up and down a few extra degrees but otherwise its a great mount. Bottom line, best mount you can find for the price for flat tv’s 40inch and up.
3 Stars Easy but some quirks
When it arrived, i right away noticed the thing is huge and heavy, which doesn’t make it too easy to hang it up by yourself. I got it up ok and i love it except for some quirks.
- When completely collapsed, the attachment to the TV is not in the middle of the mount.
- Hanging your tv on the mount is piece of cake but if its not EXACTLY in the middle of the mount, it tilts sideways and cannot be solved by tightening bolts.
- to secure your TV from sliding on the mount, it uses two screws. They are a PAIN to screw in.
- The whole thing is pretty heavy and you have to extend the arm to screw the thing into the wall. Requires at least 2 people, 3 preferred.
5 Stars Scott, Milwaukee, WI
I am very pleased with this product. I ordered two to hang matching Phillips 47′ LCD’s next to each other in our living room. They arrived in 5-7 days and were in perfect condition, nothing damaged or missing. They each weight about 30-35 lbs and have been holding up my 45 lbs TV’s with no problems for a couple weeks now.
I got the articulated mounts so we would have the options they give. Only one of them is pulled a couple inches out and angled. I haven’t noticed any sagging or other problems. We haven’t been pulling it far from the wall, so I haven’t tested them in that fashion.
They were pretty simple to put up. All you need is a drill, drill bits and a ratchting wrench set or an old style wrench set it you like working harder and screw drivers. If you have the right size attachment for you drill, you could fly through it. I put the mounts up myself, but had my wife help me put the TV’s on the mount just to be safe. Also, it has a level on the item, but I still used my own. I don’t trust those tiny levels.
The mounts were a lot cheaper than those I saw at Sam’s Club ($160) and Best Buy, which were even more and went up to 400-500 each.
I was a hard choice for me between the Cheetah mount that is similar to this one, but I think I made the right one.
5 Stars Loving my wall mounted TV
This wall mount is perfect. I mounted my 42″ LG TV that weighs 75 Lbs. The mount went up in 30 minutes using only the hardware included. The mount is secure and I feel more than safe with my $1200 TV on it. I saved a lot of money by going with this mount and you should do the same!!!
5 Stars Great mount, no complaints
As others have said, this thing is most definitely heavy. It’s possible to take the mount apart so that you can only deal with the wall plate but since I had my roommate help me, I didn’t bother with that.
Mounting this was a nightmare but only because my stud finder is crap. I borrowed two other stud finders and they all gave me different readings- it really got frustrating. Also, my apartment doesn’t have the standard 16 inch or 24 inch gap between studs. The two studs I eventually found were 14 inches center to center. Luckily the wall mount has multiple slots for the bolts. Once I had the holes drilled, the rest was a breeze.
Others have complained about the instructions but I didn’t see a big issue there- the diagrams show pretty much everything you need to do.
I used 2 levels and found that TV-side plate was off by a good 10-15 degrees. Luckily, the designers put 5 hex screws that allow you to adjust the tilt.
Unfortunately due the stud issues I was not able to mount this in the center of my wall. But I was able to move the arms to right and hang the TV right of center on the mount- those combined centered it. Now, I’m hanging a 46 inch LCD HDTV on it and have noticed no sagging.
The mount is very stiff, hard to move. But I see this as a plus since it makes it seem more sturdy.
