5 Stars lcd wall mount
Great value for a sturdy, no frills lcd mount. I mounted a 47″ screen with no problems, hugs flat to the wall.

3 Stars TV Wall Mount
Works great but it is a bit of a effort to mount and/or change a flat screen using this mount.

4 Stars PF640 FLAT WALL MOUNT
42 ” VIZIO FIT FINE WITH THIS WALL UNIT. AS OTHERS MENTIONED , MAKE YOUR TV CONNECTIONS BEFORE HANGING IT ON WALL UNIT. THE ONLY THING I WOULD LIKE DIFFERENT IS THE 2 SECURITY SCREWS ON THE BOTTOM TO SECURE IT FROM MOVING ON THE BRACKET,THEY ARE HEX HEAD (ALLEN WRENCH) IN SHAPE AND I THINK THAT PHILLIPS SCREW WOULD BE EASIER TO TIGHTEN WHEN REACHING UP THROUGH THE BOTTOM BACK OF THE TV.

3 Stars Good Buy butt…
Product is a good buy for the money but none of the screws that came with the mount fit my television. Needless to say I had to go on a screw finding mission, which was a small inconvenience. I would still purchase this product again if needed.

4 Stars Good product
Received the mount in three days. After laying out the parts and making a quick read of the instructions it took no more than 30 minutes to mount a 32 inch flat screen. All the necessary screws were included and the level of difficulty was minimum. A similar mount at Bestbuy and Sears was about $85, so you do the math.

3 Stars Looks great but not the stongest mount out there
As others have mentioned, the unit is very nice for the price but the arm on my mount deflected substantially after I first mounted my TV – a 42″ plasma. Once I flipped the entire mount over, I was able to correct the problem without needing a replacement.

When I flipped the mount, I was able to keep the angle of the mount relative to the wall small, so it wasn’t over extended which I think was the cause of the problem (in my case at least). Think of a right triangle, your tv as the hypotenuse (the longest side), and the wall as one of the other sides. Keep the mount pointed towards the smaller angle.

I would also recommend when mounting your tv, that you try to keep the tv centered on the mounting plate. It seems that if you slide the tv to the left or right too far that the eccentric (off-centered) weight on the arm can also cause it to deflect.

I’ve had the mount for over a year and haven’t had any further difficulties and it looks great…I’m just afraid to move it very much.

Overall, somewhat of a risky investment. It mounts easy and looks great, so if you don’t mind taking the gamble it can be a great mount for the price.

3 Stars Out of Stock
I ordered from costlane a couple of days ago because they would give me free expedited shipping but then I got an email saying they were out of stock, I would have to wait 3 weeks, but then i get expedited shipping so it will only take a month to get it. Even though they are still selling them today they don’t have them in stock. But they raised the price so maybe if you pay 125 bucks they will be in stock for you.

Edit: This review was not the one for the silver mount for 199 bucks some how my review got moved from the original item to this one. LOL If only there was a place i could get this mount for a monoprice I would order it today.

2 Stars Not very sturdy for 52″ plasma
We purchased this wall mount for our 52″ flat screen. The product specifications state it can hold up to a 60″ tv. We double-checked the manual to make sure it was installed properly, but the wall mount isn’t very sturdy. It holds the tv up, but even during installation we were very nervous to leave the wall mount to hold the tv on its own. We definitely will NOT use the articulating arm!

4 Stars Would buy again
I bought this mount back when it was silver for a closeout price, and I feel like I got the best possible choice for the money. Even now, at $70 more for the same thing, I would buy again if I found another 46″ LCD on the sidewalk.

It does sag a little bit, but it’s wrong to blame that on the fact that it’s less expensive than other models. That’s just plain stoopid. It sags with respect to how far away from the wall it extends, as a DIRECT result of the law of torque, not the quality or the design. It simply extends further out from the wall than other comparable models do, becuase it’s supposed to support corner mounting, which it does. Other models sag the same amount at the same distance from the wall.

You don’t need a studfinder or a magic wand to find the center of the studs. You just need a little 1/16 or 1/8 drill bit. Tap on the wall, guess where the stud is, and start poking little holes until you find the edges of the stud. That back plate is going to cover all your “experimental” pilot holes unless you’ve been drinking tequila all day and drill the wrong wall. Predrill your actual studs before tapping the lags or you’ll be sorry, the lag screws can split them if you don’t. If you think there’s a chance you have steel studs on your mounting wall, don’t buy this or any other wall mount. Buy a floorstanding model or find a realtor.

4 Stars Good Product, But Bolts Were A Pain!
I purchased this product in March 2008. The product works excellent once I got it mounted to the wall. But I would recommend going to a hardware store and buying your own bolts for mounting into the wall. The bolts that came with the mount sheared off while screwing into the wall, and that was with pre-drilled holes. It happened twice. So I threw out the bolts that came with the mount and bought new ones from the hardware store. After buying my own bolts the mounting was easy. Works perfectly with my 32″ Sony Bravia. Pulls out well away from wall when I want the TV closer and swivels left and right for angled views.

5 Stars Great value for solid dual arm mount
I spent more time researching the mount for my grandparents TV than I did the TV itself (Sony BRAVIA Z Series KDL-46Z5100 46-Inch 1080p 240Hz LCD HDTV). They had a 39 inch wide TV nook next to their fireplace, and we wanted the Sony to fit snug in front. I built a brace that goes across the nook about 9 inches from the front of it, using 2×6s attached to studs on the sides, and 2 2×4s spanning across and notched into the 2×6s. I attached this wall mount to the 2×4s, just as if there were a real wall back there.

This is a very solidly built mount. The Sony is 45 pounds, and it does not sag a bit with the arms extended all the way forward. The dual arm lets you adjust position laterally, forward and back, and some rotation side to side. Adjusting the tilt is easiest if you take the TV off the mount. A reasonably strong guy should be able to handle a 50 or 60 pound TV without assistance. The Sony, for example, is easy to grab. By contrast, my older XBR3 was awkward to grab.

I am giving this mount 5 stars despite one of the bottom screws being installed cross-threaded. A trip to the hardware store and 60 cents solved that. Installing a mount is pretty straight-forward. Find studs to bolt it into. Make sure it’s level. Blah blah. The instructions have good hieroglyphics, but the English is laughable. The screws and stuff are separated nicely into little plastic pockets labeled with letters, making it simple to follow the pictures and put it together.

Tip (1): When I got my brace built, mount attached, and TV up on the mount — a couple hours work — the 46″ set was slightly but noticeable off-level. Well, actually, it was pretty level, but the fireplace mantel wasn’t quite level and had some lines near the TV that made it look slightly off. I used a piece of felt under the left-top hanger to even things out. So don’t sweat it if you come out a little off, you can adjust that easily and cheaply.

Tip (2): I’d bet with a heavier TV, it would be easy to adjust the mount by pulling it in and out all the time, because you’d have some weight helping you. With a 50 pound TV, the mount doesn’t move at the touch of a finger. This kind of mount works best to put the TV into a position you’d like it to be in (mostly) permanently. If you’re just getting started with your research, solid is way more desirable than super-flexible, and this mount does solid very well.

5 Stars Solid & Great Price
This is a solid, well-made product. It comes with everything you to mount on the wall. It is simple, strong and reasonable price.

I was a little skeptical of this product. I received this wall mount in 3 days. The product worked exacted as stated in desc.

Overall I am very happy and thank AMAZON to help me save money.

5 Stars GREAT BUY AND PRODUCT
Fantastic quality, This mount is much nicer and stronger then the one I’ve seen at Circuit City for nearly $400.00. Very satisfied.

5 Stars This wall mount works for my plasma
I have 3 year old 50″ Plasma and decided it to put on the wall when I remodel the room.

I like the dual arms since my TV is old and heavy and dual arms hold my TV more stable. I can pull it away from the wall to access the wires and adjust the left to right when I sit in dinner room. It seems very sturdy and has worked great for my TV. I am very happy with it and said the quality was top notch.
