5 Stars Nice Mount
This mounts holds a 40″ Samsung. I have 3 Peerless mounts and all of them are top notch. It can tilt up and down. Mount it on two studs. When you hang the TV onto the mount, you can slide it left or right to center it on the wall. Go to Peerless website to see if this mount will work with your TV.

4 Stars Good mount, instructions need help
The Peerless mount worked well with the Samsung 32″ LCD it was mated with. The 15 degree tilt down angle was perfect for our viewing location, allowing a straight on view of the display. All necessary hardware was included, and then some. The only fault found was with the instructions omission of an important detail concerning the tilting feature. I found no mention of the steel pin in each adaptor bracket that must be removed to allow tilting. The pin in each bracket is located three inches below the rachet handle. Removing the end cap on the pins to allow their removal takes a bit of doing. After removing and setting aside the pins everything worked as advertised. I hope this helps make your install go a bit smoother.

This mount worked perfectly with my 32″ Sony LCD HDTV. Easy to install.

Peerless ST640P Universal Tilt Wall Mount For 23″ To 46″ Screens

5 Stars Universal is right!
I had serious reservations buying any of these TV mounts. My new TV was the overdue splurge of the year. I knew I wanted the rated capacity to be 2-3 times the weight of the unit but I didn’t want a ton of visible hardware. This one really worked out. It’s a solid unit with decent instructions (that I didn’t use) and respectable packaging (organized by size). I’m not sure what the deal with the plastic inserts that go into the studs (?!?!) are but I saw them as a weak link and moved right on to drilling pilot holes appropriate for the lags into the studs (about 3/16″). Yeay, I have a TV!

5 Stars tv mount
This tv mount works great. I wanted to have the wires in the wall with an outlet behind the mount and this worked out fine. We really love our new setup
