High-Definition Switching
HDMI, or High-Definition Multimedia Interface, is fast becoming the standard among video components, and is one of the most common audio video connections available. XBox 360, PlayStation 3, Blue-ray players, gaming computers, and more now require HDMI inputs for optimal user experiences. Unfortunately, most of the older — and many newer — HD televisions and receivers have only one HDMI input. Although you could spend $1,000 or more to upgrade your television or receiver to take care of this problem, the PureAV HDMI 3-to-1 Video Switch can take care of it for you at a fraction of the cost.

The PureAV HDMI 3-to-1 Video Switch allows you to connect to and switch among three high-definition, digital-video source devices through a single HDMI, or Digital Visual Interface (DVI) connection on your high-definition television or receiver. (Although there are only HDMI connections on this device, you can use the included HDMI Interface-to-DVI cable to connect and switch between DVI components.)

This convenient, compact switch offers an ideal way to connect digital displays such as HDTVs, plasma displays, DLP TVs, LCD TVs, and projectors. HDMI also provides an all-digital connection between such source devices as HDTVs, DVD players/recorders, digital cable/satellite boxes, and AV receivers. Simply select from among the devices either by pressing the input-selector button on the switch itself, or by using the included remote control to scroll to or directly select a source.

I looked over numerous types of these devices. Not very many actually do split your input and allow multiple devices to be used without some other issues. This one does. It works perfectly with no loss of detail or similar problems. Don’t try to cheap it out. You’ll be sorry. I running a BR player, PC and game into one input on the TV. The switchability is great.

1 Star Product arrived with missing parts-
I order the “HDmi 3X1 Switch with remote Hdmi/hdmi Cable 6 by Pure AV” the product arrived late with missing parts. Requested the saler provide the missing parts (or an explination) and never got a response. DON’T PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS SELLER OR YOU’LL BE SORRY!!!

5 Stars Works on long hdmi runs
I have a 40 foot hdmi run from a closet with the A/V equimpment to the TV. The Belkin switcher worked perfect. Also I was able to create macros with my RF remote to switch the Belkin hdmi source. I switch between the DirecTV HD DVR and my Onkyo A/V Receiver. DVD player goes through the A/V receiver. I had read that some brands of switchers had trouble with certain sources or long runs but the Belkin has worked flawless.

Image quality is ok for watching VHS movies, but even normal DVDs look poor through this device. Fuzzy and blocky images. DVDs look like an old VHS through this device. On a positive note, it is easy to use.

This product isa mess, this functions in display won’t work properly and the image is not good, don’t buy it even under 10 bucks !

I couldn’t make this tuner work. There were no directions included but it seemed pretty straight forward. I wrote the manufacturer they were no help at all. I hooked it up to a CRT monitor, it scanned for about 20 minutes and found 3 stations I think. My Tv gets six and my Tv converter box gets 26 with the same antenna. It’s hard to tell since none were clear enough to watch. The sound was terrible. The reception was like UHF with no UHF antenna. While at the same time in the same spot my antenna reception for both my Tv and my converter box is excellent. When I wrote to the seller they answered and agreed to take it back. They also educated me to the difference between ATSC-non-digital broadcast, which this device is, and NTSC which is digital. I’m astonished they are still marketing a product that will be obsolete in a matter of weeks. Beware!

1 Star It’s the thought that counts…
While I was eager to try it, and the price was good… the first one failed to work altogether out of the box, and the 2nd failed after a week. I love small Chinese companies for their willingess to try and impersonate big corporate products… but the results is always the same. Poor quality and utter failure to deliver as the more illustrious counterparts. Maybe some day small chinese electronics will actually all work, but until then I’d recommend finding a VCR or DVDR– spend the money for a tuner that works if you need one or a graphics card that has S-video or some other output that works with your tuner-less monitor.

Functional and small. I like this little gadget. The video-out port is kind of tight so the connector will fall out if you don’t insert it right, otherwise a good item for the money.
