5 Stars This one did the trick, Aquos has an odd mount patern
Bought a mount and a new Aquos. the vesa standard mount patterns are 100, 200, 400 mm, ect. this Aquos TV I bought is 440. So, I had to get a universal mount. I works great and is very well constructed, great hardware kit included and ok instructions. I had it up in a matter of minutes. How cool to have the tv on the wall.

5 Stars Best/stongest mount there is!
As a structural engineer I have had to specify TV mounts for health care facilities I have designed in the state of California. Peerless is one of the few manufacturers to have tested mounts for seismic forces and provide pre-approved details (disclaimer: I do not believe they have this certification for this particular mount but generally lighter pieces of equipment do not require it). This gave me confidence in buying from their product line. I know from installing this and the larger version for 52″ flat panel that these mounts support quite a bit of weight, provided you get the lag screws into the center of your wood wall studs. I recommend that after you find the stud (using a stud finder, rare earth magnet, whatever you prefer) you take a small finish nail and poke it through the drywall at several locations to get the exact width extents of the stud. Your mount will cover the small holes and doing so will get you more capacity than ever necessary for an LCD (I hung off my larger one prior to putting the TV on it, 200lbs!!).

This particular mount has a zero-force tilt mechanism, meaning the TV is balanced and will not tilt down by itself when the adjustment levers are loosened. It is easy to tilt the TV up (for somewhat better access to cabling) or down as required. I prefer the mounts with the secure Allen wrench screws, which this model has (the other PT models have regular screws). The kit comes with the necessary tool for these and it is the proper length to reach behind the TV depending on the mount. It is just another level of security as the TV is not coming off the wall without the special tool.

All in all a great mount, very sturdy, and straight forward installation. Well worth the cost when bought at online prices.

This is a good solid wall mount. It was easy to install and my TV (32″ Flat LCD) mounted perfectly.

Excellent product, easily handles the weight it’s rated for. Comes with plenty of different size bolts to use with almost any application but the package did not have a washer large enough for the screws I used.

1 Star This mount does not fit my 42″ Phillips LCD even though it says that it fits 23″ to 46″ models
I bought this wall mount for my 42″ Phillips LCD TV and 15 minutes later, I decided to find out what hardware came with the mount so I could purchase anything that I might need to buy before the item was delivered. I went to the manufacturer’s website and discovered that this model will not work with my TV: I ned a different model. I immediately contacted Amazon and got the usual customer assistance located in India. they may be able to speak the correct words in English but they sure as hell don’t understand what you’re saying most of the time. They informed me that the item was already being prepared for shipment and that I would have to refuse the package when it arrived from UPS since I could not cancel the order. This makes no sense to me since I called within 20 minutes of placing the order and they had not shipped the item yet. So, I sent an email to Amazon and received a response from someone in India saying the same thing that the man in India had told me. Five days later, the item shipped and it will arrive tomorrow. So now, I have to return the item (at no expense to me) to Amazon and get my credit card credited back because Amazon has this idiotic way of doing things where you can’t cancel the order after you place the order. Yes, I’m not out any money but it’s aggravating, none the less. Moral of the story: Make sure that the wall mount will fit your tv by going to the manufacturer’s site before you buy. DO NOT rely on the description from Amazon because in my case, it was incorrect.

5 Stars Good Mount
This is a good, inexpensive mount. It is wide enough room to move it horizontally to accommodate the stud position. Installation was straight forward. The mount places the TV far enough away from the wall as to not interfere with cords. One should plug in all connections before mounting the TV to the bracket because it is very difficult after it is on the wall. Again, good mount for the money.

5 Stars excellent mount, issue with tilting
This mount is great, easy to install and very sturdy. Had a problem getting it to tilt. Had to break off 2 bars that were going through the tilt arms. Once those were gone, it worked fine. Good price also for a high quality mount.

4 Stars LOOSEN HEX SCREWS TO USE ANGLE FEATURE!!!!
Good product when it was finally up…you must loosen the small hex screws (with bolt) in order to use the angle feature. This is not shown in the procedure to install. It took me forever to figure this out and I only did because I read another review on Amazon…

4 Stars Good value in a strong flush mount
This is a great value on a mid-size, heavy duty wall mount. I paid $70 inc. shipping. I mounted a 32″ Sharp using this mount…a little overkill but I wanted to be able to go up in tv size in the future. Installation was pretty easy. I did it alone. I rate myself as fairly handy at this type of thing. Still, drill some holes, screw in a few screws and your done. A helper would make it go a little quicker. The mount is very solid and secure when intalled into wall studs. The instructions could have been a little clearer, but what do you expect. I used the pictures as reference. That was a much better approach than the written instructions. TV mounts very close to the wall (about 1.5″ clearance). Loosen two set screws and you can adjust tilt or remove TV from the wall.

Unless you have side hookups, make your cable connections before you hang the tv. Adjusting the tilt takes a little doing…there are set screws, so you can’t just adjust at will. Make sure you put the super long “security allen” wrench they give you in a safe place and remember where it is because you will need it to make adjustments. It has a hole in the end and a regular allen wrench won’t do. It came with a bunch of different size bolts to accomodate various televisions. Check the manufacturers website to find which mount is best for your tv. It will give you multiple choices. www.peerlessmounts.com Use the Mount Finder on the left.

I would definitely recommend this mount for anyone wanting a flush mounted screen.

5 Stars Does it get easier?
First off, Amazon is amazing. Ordered this on a Monday night and had it at my door Thursday afternoon. Great job!

As for the mount, what’s not to like? It’s solid. It’s easy to install. They include instructions in the box but I don’t have a clue what they where all about because I didn’t read them. If fact, if you need instructions to install this wall mount then you probably shouldn’t breed and contaminate the gene pool. Your offspring will just grow up to be equally inept at accomplishing simple tasks as you lack the life skills to pass on to them. There are far too many people in this world who can’t change a car tire and we don’t need a whole lot more who can’t screw a tv mount to a wall.

Another great thing about this wall mount is the price. I was looking at wall mounts in a large chain electronic store and the salesman was trying to sell me a mount that did the exact same thing as this Peerless one, only it cost three times as much. THREE TIMES!!! Same thing; different brand. I calmly explained to the salesman that for that kind of money, I usually would expect some sort of sexual gratification in addition to the wall mount. Unfortunately for him, I don’t swing like that and told him that perhaps he would like to find a female employee to handle the “other part” of our business transaction. The next thing I know, some guy calling himself the “store manager” is asking me to leave! Well how do you like that! They want to charge nearly two bills for their tilting wall mount but won’t stand behind their high prices. Or let me stand behind their female employees, as it were.

So in conclusion, if you’re looking for a reasonably priced universal tilting wall mount for flat screen televisions, this is an excellent choice. And if you can’t hang this mount yourself without instructions, please don’t have children. And if you already have children, don’t let them work in electronic stores unless they believe in what they sell. I mean really believe in it.

The product was easy to install and works great per the other reviews. The hardest part was getting the TV onto the wall-mount but with the help of somebody else it only took a few minutes.

5 Stars Nice mount would buy again
This is a nice mount. It did work well, and is sturdy. The kit is complete and the instructions good. I used it to mount a 32″ tv and it worked well. You do have to check the mount pattern on your TV, but it will work with the sizes claimed. The tv is close to the wall, so cabling may be difficult. Tilt works fine. It is a bit difficult to hook the tv to the mount during assembly and for larger sets you may need someone to watch as you line things up, but once hooked it is secure.ONE THING I WOULD SUGGEST I used the adapter plate, which is needed for 200 X 100, and 200 x 200. If you need this plate buy an extra set of washers. The kit comes with 4 washers you need to use to attach the adapter to the hanger plate. I felt it was a good idea to use 4 additional washers when mounting the TV to the plate for additional surface area for the screw to grab. I would buy again.

4 Stars Good wall mount, great value
I’ve been using this wall mount for about 8 months now, and it’s been great. The tilt really helps reduce the color distortion that some LCD TVs have when viewed from an angle. I’m giving it a 4 out of 5 for two reasons. First, getting the TV pannel onto the wall mount is a little tricky if you’re doing this as a one-person job. It’s definitely doable, but takes some patience when you’re working with a larger TV/Monitor. Second, my TV has the inputs on the bottom/back, and when the TV is tilted the inputs cannot be reached. Of course, if your TV has side or top inputs, this probably won’t be an issue. But I would like to have seen a little more clearance between the wall and TV.

This mount comes with everything you need. It is easy to install. The only drawback is no swivel. I didn’t need swivel so this was the mount for me.

I have a 22 inch TV mounted on it and it works great. The only reason why I don’t give it a 5 is because the TV is not completely level. However, I’m not positive that I am not the reason for the out of level installation. But since this is for a workout TV we use in the garagae and it’s not that out of level, I haven’t put too much effort into reinstalling it.

5 Stars TV Mount
It works as it’s supposed to. Since I used it on a boat, there are no studs so I drilled mounting holes in each corner for more stability.

My TV would not tilt all the way down without hitting the wall so I cut a 3/4″ thick piece of wood to put between the wall and the mount to provide clearance. This might not be an issue with other TV models.

The “slip in” design is great in my case as I have to remove the TV for boat maintenance occasionally.

Was very easy to install but needed wall anchors. Holds monitor securely. Would purchase again if I needed a second wall mount.
